Finally the Emmys are listening to the people!

The nominations for the 2007 Emmy award for “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics” this year are too awesome.  It’s like the Emmy nomination committee has been replaced by several adolescent boys!  The nominees are…

*Family Guy - “Peter’s Two Dads” (a song about how the Irish are a bunch of lousy drunks)

*Scrubs - “Guy Love” (basically a big gay joke)

*Saturday Night Live - “Dick in a Box” (pretty self-explanatory)

*MadTV - “Merry Ex-Mas” (a depressing Christmas song)

and Liz and Laura’s personal favorite…

*Scrubs - “Everything Comes Down to Poo” (a song about, you guessed it, feces)

Poop, drunken Irishmen and a penis in a box.  Wow, society really is going down the crapper.  And I couldn’t be happier about it!
