  3. The cotton industry spends tons of money keeping it illegal because they don’t want the competition from hemp (which is a lot easier to grow and manufacture).

  The two main reasons we will never see pot legalized …

  1. Youd have to release too many prisoners which wouldnt be good for the prison industry.
  2. There is only one legal product to smoke and thats tobacco, pot would be competition, they just have to keep paying to make it illegal which is exactly what happens.
