Speck Mountain, they sure have the mellow thing down,
The singer stood out, in her voice I could drown.
She also showed skills of the whistling kind.
Their soulful songs were the ones that really shined.

Le Loup was just awesome, a large band they be,
With a whole three guitarists they’re something to see.
Many objects creative did their sound adorn,
They should win a prize for best use of French horn.

Papercuts exude San Fran, and more than a tinge,
They do their thing well though their name makes me cringe.
Relaxed rock that would be made better when high,
Something funny: the drummer wore a bolo tie.

Though the crowd would not shut up for the Bowerbirds,
His voice was real sweet like and so were his words.
Her accordion hummed along with Southern songs,
This lovely band sure in your playlist belongs.

His Name is Alive were an interesting crew,
The rock solo guitar would not lead me to boo,
But rather it ruled, as did Harmonium,
And who knew you could play violin and chew gum?

And now for St. Vincent, she blew me away,
Well worth the wait her eclectic array.
She was cuter than hell as she shuffled around,
Best show of the week, my how she did astound.

And check out her effects pedals! She delivered an amazing live experience. I was shocked not only by her captivating presence, but by how effectively the details of her album were reflected on stage. Seeing her was definitely worth staying out till 3AM and today’s resulting exhaustion. I power through…
