Queer as Folk’s Brian is in Desperate Housewives??

I am not a Desperate Housewives viewer and never have been, so I’m not surprised that this casting decision passed me by for so long. But I was watching a promo for the primetime soap tonight and was shocked when I saw Queer as Folk’s Brian, played by Gale Harold, starring in what looks to be a straight role as Teri Hatcher’s romantic interest. According to IMDB, he plays Jackson Braddock, a name which sounds very made up.

All I can think is, what happened to Justin? Justin and Brian forever!
