A look at Liz and Laura readers around the world
When Liz and I first embarked on this great adventure that is LizandLaura.com, we never envisioned having a worldwide following. But even though our hits are meager, they are diverse. Let’s take a look at some of the countries reading our website.
We took a slice of the last couple of days as our sample. The United States quite predictably takes the top spot, with 470 visitors. Next comes the United Kingdom (which Liz and I recently visited) with 73 visitors. Cheerio to that!
More unpredictably, spots number three through five go to Germany (64), Canada (47), and Italy (40). Rounding out the top ten are France (30), The Netherlands (28), Spain (27), Australia (21), and Brazil (17). Between the two of us, we’ve visited and loved most of these countries (only Australia and Brazil remain untouched by Liz and Laura), so we’re grateful that somebody there appreciates us!
As for some of the other countries, we have some bone picking to do. For one thing, New Zealand and Puerto Rico are lagging at the bottom with one hit each. One! We love our Boricuas and our New Zealanders! And Mexico made a poor showing at a mere 8 visitors. Considering the amount of time Liz and I have spent in Mexico, this is a disappointment.
But more interesting is the countries with a moderate number of hits, like Poland (15), Israel (11), Turkey (9), and the Czech Republic (8). We wonder if these folks can really read English, or if they just like the pictures. I suppose we may never know. Maybe all those comments we get in Cyrillic aren’t spam after all.
